Sales and listings stats are attached as of February 9th. The first week of February proved to be the strongest week of the year for sales. With 747 units sold in Greater Vancouver, it has outpaced the first week of February 2014 by 22%.  New listings coming on market are up compared to January. Total Active Listings are at 11,979 compared to 14,439 compared to the same time in 2014. Consistent demand and limited supply continues to keep the market competitive, with most markets in balance to Seller’s Market conditions. Here is a summary of the activity so far:

Greater Vancouver – 747 Units Sold so far in February 2015 compared to 614 Units Sold at the same time in February 2014. Total Active Listings are at 11,979 (14,439 at the same time in February 2014), Sales To Listings Ratio is at 50% compared to 40% in January 2015.

 

Vancouver West - 154 Units Sold so far in February 2015 compared to 144 Units Sold at the same time in February 2014. Total Active Listings are at 2,105 (2,459 at the same time in February 2014), Sales To Listings Ratio is at 46% compared to 37% in January 2015.

 

Vancouver East – 92 Units Sold so far in February 2015 compared to 73 Units Sold at the same time in February 2014. Total Active Listings are at 868 (952 at the same time in February 2014), Sales To Listings Ratio is at 59% compared to 48% in January 2015.

 

North Vancouver – 52 Units Sold so far in February 2015 compared to 38 Units Sold at the same time in February 2014. Total Active Listings are at 689 (801 at the same time in February 2014), Sales To Listings Ratio is at 43% compared to 40% in January 2015.

 

West Vancouver – 36 Units Sold so far in February 2015 compared to 27 Units Sold at the same time in February 2014. Total Active Listings are at 550 (631 at the same time in February 2014), Sales To Listings Ratio is at 42% compared to 24% in January 2015.

 

Richmond – 100 Units Sold so far in February 2015 compared to 88 Units Sold at the same time in February 2014. Total Active Listings are at 1,765 (2,075 at the same time in February 2014), Sales To Listings Ratio is at 50% compared to 39% in January 2015.
